Nose: Lemon drizzle cake, creamy caramel, oak spice, pineapple and floral honey.
Palate: Oodles of maple syrup, lemon sherbet, creamy vanilla, cherries, sweet sultanas, prunes and raisins.
Finish: Frangipane, gingerbread, toasted hazelnuts, praline and treacle tart.

Distilled in 2007, this terrific single malt from Dalmore was initially aged in first fill American white oak bourbon casks, before it was finished in 30 year old Apostoles sherry butts from Gonzalez Byass bodega. The 10 year old whisky was bottled at 46% ABV, slightly higher than most Dalmore expressions, and it packs a flavour punch.
